Anchor Home Services is a handypeople collective founded by retired teacher Marlene Scott and electrician Ray Okada. They handle small jobs — grab bars, leaky faucets, porch lights — with transparent quotes and a senior discount that isn’t buried in fine print. The origin story: Marlene kept getting calls from neighbors who didn’t know who to trust. Ray joined after fixing her porch for free. They still schedule carefully, still show up when they say they will, and still leave the workspace cleaner than they found it.
