Honeycomb Honey Shop grew from backyard hives behind a bungalow near 31st. Beekeeper twins Rosa and Elena Duarte began selling jars at the farmers market, then opened a tiny storefront for honey, beeswax candles, and pollinator workshops. Their origin story is sticky in the best way: a swarm landed in the wrong yard, they learned to keep bees to save it, and the neighborhood kept asking for more jars. Today they partner with local growers and teach kids why clover matters. Rosa still bottles midweek; Elena still leads the spring “meet the hive” walks that sell out in an hour.
