Transit Table Cafe sits near a busy bus stop on purpose. Founders Mei Lin and Omar Haddad wanted a place where transfer waits feel like a pause instead of a penalty — wifi, outlets, good soup, and staff who don’t rush you out. The menu is compact: grain bowls, toast, and rotating soups. Profits fund bus-pass scholarships for neighborhood teens. Mei still bakes the focaccia; Omar still remembers which regulars need the quiet corner table.
